We’ve been hauling horses to Spence’s Papa Hamblin’s field in Eagar. The grass is unbelievably good up there after the monsoons we’ve been having. Hopefully any of you Hamblins who check my blog will enjoy seeing how beautiful it is right now. Chase has now nicknamed Spence “Daddy Spence”…it’s the only thing he calls him (besides dumb and meanie).
Spence and Ree with Uncle T in the background.
Spence and Trey love this colt.
First Ride Ever!
Plenty of feed.
This is the first day we took horses up. Different day…still green! :)
Hayes and the horses are nearly hidden in the grass.
Chase just hanging out.
Hayes was using the long grass as a sword…surprise surprise.
Ree stayed in her car seat this day.
Papa Platt’s favorite horse, Sandy.

Good girl Ree show those boys how its done.
Oh man, it is so green. I wish it wouldn't dry out. I drove to Show Low yesterday and the grass has already browned a bit since we have had a few dry weeks. Come back rain!
Kellie, thank you SO MUCH for posting these pictures. I haven't seen the field look like that in a long time. The horses look totally content. I love the pictures of all of you even more than the green grass.
