Hayes LOVES April Fool’s Day. He was so excited this year to try out all of his pranks. Being my mom’s daughter, I tend to get into a little too. :) Some of my mom’s old tricks are saran wrap on the toilet, switching cereal boxes, salt on the toothpaste, rearranged clothing drawers, and Hayes’s favorite…dyed food. We decided to dedicate our efforts to crepes this particular April 1st. We made green crepes with blue pudding and pink whipped crème. Spence refused to eat any at first, but ended up eating plenty! (This was pre-diet!)
During breakfast preparation, Hayes split his time between helping me with the crepes, and dyeing our hand soap blue, salting our toothbrushes, and faking broken noses complete with fake blood. All in all I think it was a successful day! :)

This is why Parker wants to come and live at your house:) I'm just no fun--I did hide Chuck's truck, but I was too lazy to pull anything on the kids. By the way--I love the pictures of your babies (the calves and Chase):)
I can't get past the green stuff that looks like guacamole on a tortilla. 37 days to go....eeeeek, I'm so excited.
Thank goodness someone is keeping up with the family traditions....
