It’s a Girl!

Our first baby horse was born late Sunday night. 

Hayes is always the first to climb in and make friends.

Our friends the Carters were visiting from Utah and had been hoping that a baby would come before they left to go home.  We were so glad that mom and her new baby obliged.  Since the filly was born on Easter, we were trying to come up with a fitting name.  Since her mom is Dancer (Exquisite Dancer to be precise) and in quarter horse registration you always try to put their lineage in their name, we thought maybe we could name her Disco Bunny.  We haven’t come up with anything better yet.  Any ideas?  Her dad’s name is Wild Thing.
